We've designed our SCRATCH Game Design class specifically to make coding both accessible and thrilling for kids aged 8-12, using a practical, hands-on approach that champions active learning. SCRATCH, a child-friendly, block-based coding language, forms the core of our curriculum, enabling students to develop a new game each week. Throughout the course, students will create 4-6 games, progressively delving into more complex coding concepts and game design strategies. This hands-on interaction not only allows students to experiment with and enhance their games but also makes the learning experience highly personal. Our aim is to spark a love for coding in young minds, showcasing its creative and enjoyable aspects. As a token of their accomplishments, each student will be awarded a pen drive filled with their game projects at the end of the course. IntelliBricks will also provide laptops for each student, ensuring that everyone has the tools they need to work independently.

In this class students will learn coding by doing fun animation projects. As students learn the ins and outs of the intuitive drag-and-drop interface, they’ll create an animated birthday card, a fireworks show, and work on creating their own stories including a choose-your-own-adventure! This class will be covering cloning, variables, timing, and even how to create custom sprites.

(Please note: Laptops will be provided for each student. A pen drive with all their projects will be given as a take away for each student at the end of the course)

So being able to make your own is a lucrative, important, and interesting skill! That’s why we’re offering a new Website Development class! This class will give students an introductory level of knowledge in 3 Coding languages; HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and Javascript, the three coding languages that make up a vast majority of the sites you’ll visit! Knowing these 3 languages will allow you to create websites that can compete even with the most state of art web frameworks, with HTML to build the foundation of the site, CSS to streamline and improve the visual styling, and Javascript to make your site intuitive and interactive for your users! Web design has never been a more important skill, so sign your student up today! This class will demonstrate:

• Basic concepts in web design and web development. 
•  Use of tags, elements, forms, linking, etc. in HTML
• Use of padding, spacing, line height, background color and many other styling attributes in CSS. 
• Improving user friendly traits and client side interactivity with Javascript
• Suggested tools and methods that you can use to take your website to the next level.
