Applied Science Lab: Hands-On Discovery for Schools & Communities
The Core Experience
Where curiosity meets creativity through real-world builds. In the Applied Science Lab, students in Grades 1-6 transform into inventors, engineers, and problem-solvers. This program moves beyond screens and kits, using easy-to-handle materials and guided experimentation to solve real-world challenges. Each weekly session introduces a new engineering project—from air-powered cars to electrical circuits—allowing students to Build, Test, and Redesign while mirroring the professional scientific method
What Students Learn (Sample Projects)
- Circuits & Conductivity: Design and build a DIY Flashlight to understand how electricity flows.
- Renewable Energy: Construct Mini Wind Turbines to discover how we capture natural power.
- Mechanical Advantage: Investigate force and motion by building Pneumatic Arms and Marble Climbers.
- Environmental Engineering: Explore heat transfer and airflow by designing a Mini HVAC System.
The IntelliBricks Difference

- Real-World Engineering Students build functional models like HVAC systems and wind turbines
- No-Screen Learning Pure hands-on exploration using physical materials to solve complex problems
- Design Thinking Mirror the professional process of observation, construction, testing, and redesign
- Applied Physics Master the laws of motion, force, and electricity through builds
- NGSS Aligned Curriculum connects directly to national science and environmental engineering standards
Safety & Logistics
- 🧰 All Materials Provided: IntelliBricks provides all project materials, experiment guides, and specialized tools for every student.
- 🙋 Individual Builds: Every student works on their own project, ensuring 100% engagement and personal mastery of the concept.
- 🏫 Turnkey School Solution: We only require a classroom space with tables; we handle the setup, instruction, and cleanup entirely.
